A friend of mine has an AT&T 6300 Plus running Microsoft Windows. This is generally IBM PC/AT compatible. There is no separate on/off switch on his monochrome video monitor, and the brightness control won't dim the screen all the way to darkness. So, he is looking for a screen saver program that would blank the screen after a period of inactivity. The problem is that the 6300 series has a high-resolution graphics mode, which Windows uses. This mode is higher resolution than CGA, but not compatible with EGA (I don't think, anyway--the manual isn't clear). So, I think a standard IBM screen saver wouldn't work. Does anyone know of a screen saver program that works on the AT&T 6300 Plus in high-res graphics mode? Thanks, Mike Ciaraldi University of Rochester ...rutgers!rochester!ciaraldi
