CALL FOR PAPERS: 2nd SIAM Conference on
Parallel Processing for Scientific Computing
November 18-21, 1985
Omni Hotel, Norfolk, Virginia
Conference themes: supercomputer architectures, performance
of algorithms, parallel and vector algorithms and optimization,
communication/synchronization overhead in parallel systems,
modeling on supercomputers, high performance methods for
differential equations, parallel linear system solvers,
programming environments for parallel systems, and algorithms
and computer architectures.
How to contribute: Contributed papers and poster presentations
consistent with the themes of the meeting are solicited. Some
will be selected by the program committee for 30-minute present-
ations. Others will be scheduled for poster sessions.
Abstracts for contributed papers and poster sessions should be
submitted on a SIAM form. If you wish to be considered for a
30-minute presentation, please submit an additional abstract,
typed on plain white bond, of about 1000 words.
