For general transferring of files between a Apple MacIntosh and IBM PC I've used Central Point Software's CopyIIPC Deluxe Option Board. This board was mainly intended to allow users to backup copy protected software, but since it is a bit copier, will also allow IBM PC/XT/AT/PS2 with a 720K 3.5" drive to read and write MacIntosh compatible disks (note that I'm not affiliated with Central Point Software, just a satisfied customer). As far as MS Word files, I believe that there is a format difference. I also believe that Microsoft is working on a solution (information obtained from Central Point Software and Microsoft). I'm not sure on the time frame. So far I've been exporting the files as ASCII text then re-formatting in the new environment. Not very friendly, but the use of style sheets help. James E.
