At my office we use the Procomm telecommunications program to emulate a vt100 to access our mainframe via Tymnet's asynch to 3270 service. Agency policy requries that we do a screen to printer dump after transmitting certain data input screens. We are using 4" paper in the printer. We use the "print screen" key to do the screen dump. However, this is unsatisfactory because the screen dump is one line longer than four inches. This means that after each screen dump the operator must take the printer off line, do a form feed and put the printer back on line. We would like to be able to dump just the vt100 portion of the screen, eliminating Procomm's bottom status line. Any suggestions? (I know that we could set the printer to print eight lines to the inch to fit the full screen on one page. However, this would still require a manual form feed after the dump.)
