The Small Computer Book Club (Macmillan) has made UNIX and XENIX: A Step- by-Step Guide its Main Selection for March. This new book from Brady (Prentice Hall) provides clear discussions of fundamentals, ed, vi and ex, text-proces- sing, nroff (plus ms), and shell programming (Bourne and C), along with detail- ed summaries. Anyone learning UNIX for the first time or teaching UNIX courses will want to consider this book. It's available at bookstores everywhere, in- cluding B. Dalton and (soon) Crown books.
