The two best answers to Russian on the PC are as follows: 1. MegaChomp's DuangJan package, about $80, Laserjet fonts about $40 Megachomp 3524 Cottman Ave., Phil., Pa. 19149-1606 (215) 331-2748 2. TurboFonts from Image Processing Software Inc. P.O. Box 5016 Madison Wis. 53705 (608) 233-5033 about $150 last I heard, Laserjet fonts about $100 Both of these packages map the PCs keyboard to resemble that of a Soviet type 0 typewriter, which is really what you want: keys which normally occur together are located together and it makes for faster typing. DuangJan behaves pretty much like a modernized WordStar with pretty reasonable function-key support, and TurboFonts are meant to be used in conjunction with your own word processor. I prefer DuangJan, if for no other reason, than that the function keys still behave properly when in Cyrillic mode i.e. WordPerfect, for instance, tosses out garbage user prompts in Cyrillic. Both, of course, switch back and forth from Roman alphabet to Cyrillic with a function key. Ted Holden HT Enterprises
