On a recently installed PC network that I have access to, (running the Novel Network 2.0 system), there is a program called LS that would seem to have been orriginally distributed as HOTDIR (vers. 2.0)--I make this assumption based on the hasding it prints when listing a directory. It is an advanced replacement to MSODS's DIR command. I've been able to fugure out the programs syntax, etc., but am lost on one point. When listing the files in a directory, Hotdir uses a color scheme to describe each file. (EXE and COM files are--so far--either cyan or green w/ or w/o highlight, batch are red for instance.) Can anyone out there tell me the precise color scheme? I'm interested in knowing the precise differences between files with each possible color. Thanks for any info. -JimC P.S.
