I am posting this for a friend who does not have USENET access... so if I am wrong about some details, don't flame me... thanks. Here's the scoop... I have a friend who is writing Assembly, and needs to bypass the ABORT, RETRY, FAIL, IGNORE? error message that occurs when disk failures exist (ie.. drive open etc..) In paticular, they have a cartridge disk drive which appears to be a hard drive to the system... they currently trap the error message for the floppy drive (via INT 13H), but need to do the same with the hard drive... what he wants is a duplicate set of BIOS calls similar to INT 13H, but for the hard drive... or just the specifics on how to trap the error mentioned above. Because this is specific, please respond via E-Mail: uunet!epicb!david THANKS :-P -- | David P.
