OK Net-landers. I have a question for you. What are we going to do about all of these different arc formats? Will we be supporting multiple formats? Do we support, say, for example ZOO or Phil Katz' new format? What will all of you sysops out there do? I am under the impression that most BBS's can't handle supporting more than one format (for example, let us assume that you decide to handle both ZOO and the old ARC -- that would mean doubling the file space, right?) Anyway, I want to hear what all of you think. Feel free to email or post. Oh yes, since I am leaving this job in a week, you might want to try sending it care of wildstar@uwav1.acs.washington.edu listed below. Supporting multiple archiving formats does not mean a Sysop has to double or triple his file space. It just means contributions are accepted in any of a number of formats and stored in that format. -- Tom Neff UUCP: ...!cmcl2!phri!dasys1!tneff "None of your toys CIS: 76556,2536 MCI: TNEFF will function..."
