I know this is in the process of being covered, but we had a little foo pa with our news, and things got lost. Does anyone have/know where it can be obtained a screen saver for an EGA that blanks the screen through hardware and not software? The reason is, during long file transfers, a software blank causes problems with the up/download. All help is appreciated and your name will be added to my Christmas list. -- Has anyone seen my old friend brain?

Sure, I've got a hardware solution -- toggle the power switch on the monitor.
