I'm finally at the point where I really need a good source control system. I have experience w/an extended version of SCCS on UN*X and enjoyed it very much. I need at least that much functionality, but don't want to pay $$!! Is there anything in PD? Or, please, other people's reccomendations. -- O----------------------------------------------------------------------> | Cliff Joslyn, Cybernetician at Large | Systems Science, SUNY Binghamton, vu0112@bingvaxu.cc.binghamton.edu V All the world is biscuit shaped. . .

It is somewhat like SCCS, but a little easier to use. It does all the standard SCCS stuff, like get, put, delta, etc. Unfortunately, I did not order the stuff, so I don't know how much it costs, but I do know that the stuff really worked well, and also worked in a LAN environment. I believe Polytron is based in Oregon. I don't have the phone number, but maybe someone out there does. Hope this helps, Chuck Schwing ccs@mtune.att.com Disclaimer: These opinions are mine, and mine alone, and I am in no way, shape or form affiliated with Polytron. Thank you.

Polytron has a new phone number (503)-645-1150 P.O.Box 787 Hilsboro, Or 97123 the address is old and I am not to sure if it is any good but the phone number is from three weeks ago so it should be ok.
