I have been searching for information on popular methods of interfacing with the IBM PC/XT bus. None of the publications I have seen really give much information on the bus or ways to connect to it. Can anyone suggest a good article or book for this?? Thanks in advance :) -- Tim Volpert Purdue Univ. I think you'll like Sargent & Shoemaker's "The IBM PC from the Inside Out". An Addison-Wesley book. An excellent book on interfacing to the IBM is: Interfacing Sensors to the IBM PC by Willis Tompkins. Not cheap - about $50 hardbound, but excellent. The book builds a data acquistion system block by block, and discusses interfacing various types of sensors to this data acquisition system. Well done. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Alan Strassberg UUCP: ..!{pyramid,leadsv}!oetl!alan (wk) (408) 425-6126 alan@leadsv =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
