Our company is expanding, and we're reconsidering networking options. Since we'll soon have more Unix and less DOS, we're considering moving towards the TCP/IP world. But we still will have some DOS users, and would like the ability to support them on the same filesystem, rather than have them dwell in their own Netware world. Have any of you experienced both PC-NFS and Novell? Could you compare/contrast them in terms of performance, reliability, and any other criteria that are important to you? We're going to keep at least a small Netware network around in any event, since many of our target systems use Netware, so: is anyone out there runnning TCP/IP and Netware on the same media? Any problems with this? Thanks in advance; please reply by E-mail and I'll summarize for the net. -- Mark McWiggins UUCP: uunet!intek01!mark DISCLAIMER: I could be wrong.
