I am having a problem running a "C" program that keeps hanging up an IBM PC/3270 running version 2.10 of the 3270 control pgm. On both an earlier version (1.22) and a later version (3.xx) the same pgm works fine. However, when running version 2.10, both system() and spawn() calls cause the system to hang, requiring the PC to be powered down to fix. Unfortunately, there isn't much chance that the PC's will be up- dated with a newer version of the control program. Naturally, with the introduction of the PS/2 line, IBM no longer supports this program. Has anyone experienced these same problems? More importantly, does anyone have any suggestions on how to work around the problem? Responses via e-mail are preferred (see below), I can summarize to this newsgroup if there is an interest in the solution. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
