I've used the hardware/software to backup a 35MB drive and a 20MB without any problems. What I need now is low level routines so I can write my own programs to read/write the tape. product misc info Tussey Computer Products SWAN internal 40MB tape backup system. DC2000 cassettes hardware misc info DC2000 contains 200 feet of .25 inch tape tape drive plugs in instead of floppy drive B on a XT (drive can also be in addition to 2 floppies if using a cable with one A connector and two B connectors) software misc info 20 tracks of 68 segments each each segment holds 32K infomation thus total is 1360 segments * 32K = 42.5 MB minus 1.7MB ECC data = 40.8 MB user data.
