I have a Taiwan clone pc-xt with two hard discs, a 10 meg and a 20 meg. The 10 meg is set up as the boot disc C and the 20 megger as the D drive. Actually the 20 megger is a hard card containing the Omti controller. The setup has worked perfectly for the last 2 years until last week. The system boots perfectly BUT no longer recognizes that there is a hard disk D. Any attempt to access the disk results in a message saying that it does not exist. The CORE access test, however, DOES recognize hard disk 2. Can anyone please shed some light on this situation? What has happened? Are my 20 meg of data irretrieveably lost? Thanks! Irwin J.
