Try CHMOD.exe. It will let you change the file from hidden to not hidden and then delete them. -- PATH= Second star to the right, {...Ken Trant...} and straight on till morning "Official Sponsor, US Olympic Team" {...Merrill Lynch Realty...} 415-651-3131 *:-) 408-721-8158

I assume there have been questions concerning hidden files under MS(PC)-DOS. Other ways of changing file attributes: Norton Utilities NU.exe program - go to the directory containing the files in question, then move the cursor to the HID column and hit the space bar. (This will make sense when you actually get to that point.) Norton also has a program called FA.exe (File Attributes) which will do the same job. Thank you very much to all and each of you who sent suggestions about my problem with hidden files. CHMOD.EXE worked. Sorry I can't reply individually. Please do not e-mail any more replies, the problem is solved. Thanks again, -Celso Alvarez (sp299-ad@violet.berkeley.edu)
