I have a GRiD Compass that runs MS-DOS, and I don't like edlin. The GRiD has a bit-mapped, non-pc-compatible display, and I haven't been able to find a public domain screen editor that will work on it. Can anyone provide me with a copy of (or a pointer to) a public domain editor that is designed for MS-DOS (i.e., doesn't write directly to screen memory)? I'm also willing to consider inexpensive (share-ware, etc.) editors. Thanks in advance. PB Schechter pb@cs.wisc.edu
