[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Printer advice wanted

I bought my Epson 800 printer two years ago. I believe the same model is now
called the Epson 500. For what it is worth, my printer has worked very well.
The print quality and speed should be good enough for you. The only complaint
about it is that the tractor feed rests on top of the printer which causes you
to "waste" a sheet of paper every time you print something. Otherwise it is a
pretty good printer.

If you are interested in looking at a dot matrix printer (which in the long run
will be more useful that a daisy wheel), you may want to pick up the issue of
PC Magazine that came out 2 or 3 weeks ago. It had a review to a whole bunch
of dot matrix printers. Your local Computerland will probably have a couple
copys of the back issue.
