Here in Seattle, the new labels (indicating the new formula) are just
beginning to arrive. You can tell if an old can is new or old formula
by the color of its top--the old formula tops are silver, and the new
formula tops are gold. (I've taste tested one of each to check--the
new is indeed bad--too sweet, and no bite.) I don't know how you tell
the difference in bottles, though...

I heard the reason COKE changed its flavor was because they
wanted to use corn syrup as a sweetener, instead of cane sugar(which
is more expensive). Now I can't get any of the old COKE to compare
the ingredients against the new COKE. So will someone in net.land
who has access to the blessed old COKE compare and let me know?
Here are the ingredients to the new (YUK!) COKE:
Carbonated Water, High Fructose corn syrup and/or sucrose, Caramel
color, Phosphoric acid, Natural flavors, Caffeine.

by the way what does 'and/or' mean in this context. Do they
change ingredients according to their mood?

Also I move we FLAME the guy who made this disasterous decision,
but let's use real flames!
