If the person(s) who wanted a patch to DOS will send me mail, I will send back a patch to PC/MS-DOS that makes echo-off the default. The patch requires using DEBUG or a similar program to find certain code strings, and replacing a particular byte (the actual locations vary from DOS version to version, so patches giving only the byte location are not trustworthy). -- -- bob,mon (bobmon@iuvax.cs.indiana.edu) -- "Aristotle was not Belgian..." - Wanda
