]:[ has anyone any recommendations for a portable printer that will accompany a laptop situation? the laptop is a zenith supersport-xt (which is irrelevant). (hmmm...can your lap support a pc *and* printer?! ;-)) i'd appreciate any stories you may have about these beasts. i'm sure the quality just isn't there with a portable; our needs are for a fast, quiet, and easy-to-use portable printer. i'm looking at v7, n18 of pc magazine's annual printer issue. there are no portables mentioned. perhaps i should take the hint. thanks for your help! i'll summarize if responses warrant. -- | | michael regoli | ...rutgers!iuvax!silver!regoli | regoli@silver.bacs.indiana.edu |

We've got a bunch of Diconix 150 VERY portable printers. They can run on batteries but come with an AC adapter as well. They're very small, about 12"w x 1.5" H x 6" deep. They seem to run pretty well and are Epson compatible. -- The contents of this message are totally unauthorized, and represent no person or entity within any agency, nor any statement of policy. It's the one I carry, and I do recommend it. It is also the one that everyone else I know who has a laptop carries. Is there another one in competition? -- AT&T o o 303-538-5004 Don Stanwyck || druco!stanwyck Denver, CO USA \__/ Telecom Standards
