Many thanks to those of you who responded to my request for
info/recommendations regarding the choice of a VGA board and
monitor. The consensus of the replies was that the Paradise boards
appear to be the most 'compatible' and that the Sony 1302 (not 1302A)
was the 'sharpest' 14" monitor.
I purchased a Paradise VGA Professional and a Princeton Graphics Ultrasynch.
While the Ultrasynch is only a 12" monitor, it has .28mm dot size and excellent resolution. So far, I'm very pleased. The only negative is that like many
of the monitors I looked at the Ultrasynch 'orange' is nore brown
than orange.
As a result of this purchase I have a Hercules Graphics Plus board and
associated software for sale. Anyone interested?
