A friend of mine just bought a Leading Edge model D2 a few weeks back, and so far, we haven't found any incompatabilities. It's a well constructed machine, well designed and well put together. I would have no worry about buying one myself (were I in the market for one). The keyboard is wonderful (to my tastes, anyway...different tastes will get different mileage). The parallel and serial ports are built into the mother board and the connectors are in a seperate slot below the power supply, leaving your other slots open. The hard disk stands on its side to the right of the two floppy slots. It's switchable between 8 and 10 Mhz. Everett Kaser !hplabs!hp-pcd!everett
