We recently got a new IBM PS/2 Model 60, with the standard IBM video adapter (which I believe is a VGA?) and I was wondering what one does to set the border color on the screen. I know that for the old Color-Graphics-Adapter, you had to write to port '3D9' (or something like that), according to the Tech Ref. manual. I tried this on the PS/2 and it didn't work, and I don't have access to a Technical Reference manual for the VGA. And while you're at it, how do you set the default text colors? (I currently use ANSI.SYS commands, but there may be a nicer way.) If this is a stupid question, please e-mail (rather than post) the answer.
