Does anyone have any opinions either for or against one of these laser printers? We are considering buying a laser for our office lan, and were set to purchase the Mannesman Tally MT-910 when suddenly someone suggested that we buy an Okidata printer. This "somebody" did not indicate any particular model, just that he has had good experiences with Okidata and not so good experiences with Mannesman Tally printers. The laser will be used in an office environment, will probably serve about 12-15 people, with moderate printing requirements, mostly textual. Our primary reasons for choosing Mannesman: 1) many internal fonts 2) many emulations (Diablo, FX-80, HP Laserjet Plus, another?) 3) 10 ppm 4) NCR Canada's Field Engineering Division does third party maintenance on Mannesman printers, so on site maintenance is readily available Thanks for any comments, Brian A. Okidata is facing lawsuits from dissatisfied owners of their last attempt to produce a laser printer. They've probably abandoned the Ricoh engine by now, but I'm not sure I'd hurry to buy another one.
