This is in reference to a posting about the Vendex VTI-55-AT clone. It sounded like a pretty good system to me (and at a good price). I'd like to know if anyone has info on Vendex and this system. Also I need an address and phone number for Vendex. Thanks in advance for any info. Barry Caplin - Boeing Computer Services, Wichita -- The bus came by and I got on that's when it all began... I recently purchased the Vendex VTI-55 AT clone. So far I am pleased the system. My only complaint to this point is the fixed disk installed in the system is a Western Digital custom RLL drive. The controller is very slow. Rates about the same as a XT drive. Other than that the system is well constructed and has worked fine so far. Vendex's parent company is Samsung, as a matter of fact the computer has the Samsung S550 model number stamped on the back.
