[comp.sys.ibm.pc] RAM speeds for an 10Mhz XT

	[there ain't no line eat........

Hello All,

I remember a recent discussion of RAM speeds for the various
PC clone CPU's. Of course, I didn't save it at the time, since I
didn't need it then :-)

Could someone mail me a copy of the RAM speeds needed for a
10Mhz XT ( note, an XT, not an AT! )? I think that 200ns RAMs are
good enough. Is this correct?

	Thanks all!
		Eric.

ps. please reply by mail, no need clogging the net with this..

No ...

For a XT (not AT), running at 10MHz you need at least 150ns chips. I
personally have 120ns chips in mine.

I hope this answers your question.
