In November there was a nice patch for COMMAND.COM on the net. It allowes COMMAND.COM to accept both "-" and "/" as switch caracter in call time. This is useful when you use programs that call "COMMAND.COM /C foo" even when the switchar is "-". This reminded be of another problem I had when I started using "-" as switchar. You cannot execute a program that has a "-" in its name. COMMAND.COM breaks the program name as it sees the "-" and treats the rest of the line as arguments. I had to rename these programs to foo_bar instead of foo-bar. Does anyone have a patch for that? I want to have something like the UNIX shells: If I put a "-" in the program name, it should be there, I don't want COMMAND.COM to put an extra blank before it. I use MS-DOS 3.30, but every help will be appriciated. Ze'ev. -- Ze'ev Shtadler.
