[comp.sys.ibm.pc] DOS 4.0 patches

jwbirdsa@phoenix.Princeton.EDU (James Webster Birdsall) (12/16/88)

What patches are availabe for DOS 4.0 and where do I get them? It's got
some pretty odd bugs in it -- I have several Turbo C 1.5 progs that do
file stuff which ran fine under 2.1 but limp under 4.0. Anybody else run
into similar problems? What other problems are there (i.e. what's
lurking in wait for me)?
   Thanks in advance.

I got mine from the local Computerland; the cost was free if you brought
some disks, I didn't so it cost me $5.00.

Here's whats on the disks:

The second disk has a replacement SHELL.HLP. The first disk also
has new IBMBIO and IBMDOS files, at least they are slightly larger.
