I have been using the PC-Writer plug in module for about 3 years in a micro- line 83A and have been pleased with it. It makes the printer accept commands as if it were an IBM graphics printer, it also does more tha the Okigraph or Plug'n'play options(duplicates there functions and more) Features: Letter or draft quality Pica, elite compressed Bold-face (horizontal emphasis) Double strike (vertical emphasis) Automatic underlining Sub and super scripts Horizontal tab stops 6, 8 or variable lines-per-inch graphics (60, 120, 240 dpi) Prints all IBM extended ascii char. set Backspaces Serial or Parrallel interfaces Doesn't do Italics (darnit) Put out by Rainbow technologies, inc. old Ph # (guess it' still good) (714) 261 0228 I have no relation with the company, except having used the product.
