If I install an AT clone motherboard in my XT clone, what compatibility problems can I expect with my current expansion boards? The floppy disk controller, for example, is currently running at the standard bus speed of a 4.77MHz XT clone. Will the controller, and the drives, work at the higher AT bus speeds? Also, will my Seagate ST238 and Adaptec RLL controller work in the an AT clone? Will my memory expansion board, with its 150ns RAM, work on an AT bus? I understand that 8-bit boards will be limited to 8-bit use, but I want to know whether they'll work at all. Thanks in advance.
