I just recently got a Panasonic KXP-1124 (new model) 24 pin job. On Text output, it is absolutely beautiful. For the $329.00 I paid for it, it was is a heck of a printer for the money. One problem I have noticed though is that under First Publisher, the left and right edges of the graphics screen are being cutoff. I used to use an Epson RX-80 (9 pin, 80 col) with First Publisher just fine. The KXP-1124 emulates both the LQ-2500 and IBM ProPrinter X24. I set the KXP-1124 to the LQ-2500 mode and adjusted accordingly in First Publisher. But it seems that output has elongated somewhat such that the W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G. page on the screen in no longer completely able to fit on the paper. The right and left edges have been truncated some. I have fooled and fooled with the front panel, etc., but in the IBM modes, it does the same thing. Does anyone have any experience with this printer? It is a new model but seems very popular. Is it the printer at fault here or does the use of a 24 pin printer (LQ-2500) with First Publisher demonstate the same results? Please email responses and I will reopst if needed. Thanks in advance!
