I'll admit that a lot of Rick Springfield's stuff is pure pop (by the standards of the people who criticize pure pop) but his latest, "Love Somebody" reminds me a lot of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run". In fact, the first time I heard it on the radio I thought they were playing "Born to Run". I think it's a pretty good single. Of course, I haven't heard any flames yet about Springsteen, but for the record I'd like to say that I think he has some pretty good material. -- Be ye moby, for I am moby.
