I own a TeleVideo AT compatible. I couple of months ago I decided to buy an additional 20MB HD. It turned out that I bought a Mountain 20 MB DriveCard. The original cost was $586 and I got it at a discount for ~ $200. One of the conditions for discount was a no-return-policy. The problem arised when I wanted to install my drivecard. After a number of phone calls to the Mountain Computers and similar number of visits to the dealer, a Mountain technician told me that my computer was not compatible with the drivecard. I had actually taken the card to the dealer and have them install it in their TeleVideo, which they did, but to no success. I have done various changes with the jumpers. Managed to run the Install program successfully. The Mdisk successfully. But when it comes to typing D: , I get an old "invalid drive specification" message. I would like to know if anyone else had attempted this marriage, Televideo with Mountain. If anyone has an experience with mountain drives and their compatibility, please let me know and tell me what the jumpers should be set to. I would also be very glad to hear from "Mountain" and "Televideo" people on the net. Thanks in advance. -Nasser master@uop.edu
