[comp.sys.ibm.pc] FAT EATER - A Cry for Help

djb@loligo.cc.fsu.edu (Dave Brightbill) (02/09/89)

HELP! I run a Z-159 at home an a IBM AT at the office. When I bring files
built on my Zenith into work, they load and run fine. When I bring them home
again, they are hosed. Sometimes the FAT's are gone, sometimes, the entire
disk is unreadable. I suspect a virus and have replaced the command.com and
the two hidden files on the two systems. Anybody have another idea. I'd
also appreciate a reference on what a good FAT should look like.

Please reply to my internet address: djb%fsucs@nu.cs.fsu.edu or to my
BITNet address: david@fsu.BITNET

Thanks in advance.
