I don't know who did it first -- anyone know? The Go-Go's play it in 4/4. I don't think it's just because they can't play in other tempos, I think the song was written that way. I don't see how it could have been 7/4. . . One song, however, that IS in 7/4 is Linda Ronstadt's last bit of pleasant but forgettable fluff before "What's New," "Get Closer."
