I am "trying", and the operative word is trying, to run DESQview on a 20MHZ 80286 "Chips & Tech." machine. I have two problems, and a question: 1) It does not recognize the EMS4.0 memory on my mother board as EMS4.0, only as EMS3.2 memory. I have run also tried this with a AST RAMPAGE and a INTEL ABOVE BOARD, both with EMS4.0 drivers and it still does not recognize the memory as being EMS4.0 (:- Arn't these the guys that created the standard) I called the tech support line, I waited 2 HOURS 14 MINS and 27 SECS on hold, hearing "your are 6th in line, press 1 to continue to hold, # to leave the queue", the phone is now part of my ear. AND THIS IS NOT A TOLL FREE NUMBER........AND THEN FLAME ON -------> THE TECH SUPPORT WAS OF NO HELP <-------, they did not even have a list of boards that work with there system and they said that the INTEL ABOVE BOARD and THE AST RAMPAGE don't work, but how do you get more "EMS4.0 compatible" 2) I am trying to get GENERIC CADD to run in one of the windows, I seemed to try every option on the "CP, change program" menu. IS there any one that has gotten this to work under DESQview v2.2 ? What happens is that Generic CADD comes up, and runs fine until I press the "ALT" key, press escape to go back, and the program is frozen up..... AGAIN TECH support was of no HELP, try using the setup for AutoCAD, thanks but that does the exact same thing. 3) Has any one gotten an enhanced graphics window to run under DESQview, ie 800x600. I'm not talking about the main DESQview window it self, but as a sub process. Jeff Wolford att!iwsag!jww att!ihlpa!wolfordj harvard-+ | ucbvax--+---- att --+ iwsag!jww | decvax--+
