This is a request for literature. I am in need of one or more GOOD references on the .EXE and .OBJ file formats under MS-DOS 2.00 and greater. Any such reference must have the following charactersistics: - available either from publisher, via the net (down/uploadable) or from a good computer bookstore. - very specific -- generalities are no good (see below). - should cover MS-DOS 3.xx if the format here is extended from the 2.00 format - must be complete! Price is not a problem, since I, like all students have gobs of money... About generalities: I looked thru the Waite group's MS-DOS developer's guide (2nd ed.), and it had an ok chapter, but not specific enough. Besides, it didn't cover .OBJ's. If you out there have any personal favorites, why don't you be kind and mail me a reference? (email, please, I'll summarize come middle-of-March and post-finals-time.) .EXE, .OBJ, or both -- I'll accept it all. Thank you. --lars
