I recently passed along some questions about Telix to Colin Sampaleanu, and the following is his reply: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: 02-08-89 (11:25) Number: 346 VMC's Activity BBS To: TOM BETZ Refer#: NONE From: COLIN SAMPALEANU Read: NO Subj: YET MORE USENET TRAFFIC Conf: (61) telix ----------------------------------------------------------------------- To Cheng-Lee Nee: The VT keypad actually operates in two modes, application keypad mdoe and numeric keypad mode. Due to the way the Telix key setup is done Telix is always in application keypad mode. I would expect that this version of vi turns on numeric keypad mode, and expects the sequences appropriate to that mode (4 different ones). I will actually be making it possible to do this for v3.12 (there will be a conditional clause in the KEY assignment). To Andrew Patrick: Telix does do a wrap at the end of line by default. If in your use it doesn't, I'd guess that the remote system is sending the VT escape sequence to turn it off, for some reason...
