The VT keypad actually operates in two modes, application keypad mdoe
and numeric keypad mode. Due to the way the Telix key setup is done
Telix is always in application keypad mode. I would expect that this
version of vi turns on numeric keypad mode, and expects the sequences
appropriate to that mode (4 different ones). I will actually be making
it possible to do this for v3.12 (there will be a conditional clause in
the KEY assignment).
To Andrew Patrick:
Telix does do a wrap at the end of line by default. If in your use it
doesn't, I'd guess that the remote system is sending the VT escape
sequence to turn it off, for some reason...
