I need to review the contents of many floppy disks, print a list of their contents (including files in subdirectories), and sort the contents of multiple disks by file name, date, etc. Can anyone recommend shareware or public domain software that will help me organize my collection of floppy disks? Thanks in advance. John Walsh usenet: att!angate!anuxh!jpw internet: walsh@inmet.inmet.com

I have been using WSSI338 (my most recent download of it) and it is quite good. It handles many disks, sorts by date time name ext volume etc. It can also output the whole catalog to a disk file which I find useful since this allows me to do a quick search with grep. Also, it has a util that will read comments from a BBS list and append them as descriptions to your catalog. By downloading the complete listing from some popular bbs's you can comment a large portion of your PD software.
