[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Need "Soft Font" Info for the HP LaserJet

peter@aucs.UUCP (Peter Steele) (02/03/89)

We want to get a collection of soft fonts for the HP LaserJet, particularly
fonts that are on the large side (>24 point). Does anyone have a good source
where I might get this information (font types, sizes, prices, etc.). Much
appreciated.

HP just released a set of scalable fonts thhat might do the job. They
are supposed to be instalable into popular applications (sorry, I have
no experience on what that means). The fonts are scalable in 1/2 point
increments from 4 to 200 points. There are several options and part
numbers. The most interesting is an introductory pack that includes
all the fonts and setup programs for about $225. Part number is C2054A
Opt ABA fr 5 1/4", C2052A Opt ABA for 3 1/2"

That's all I know about it.
