I am currently using MetaWindow/Plus graphics package in developing one graphics software. MetaWindow's features have so far been more than enough for me and I am fully satisfied with this graphics package. Anyway, now I have a need to also produce paper output from my software, and neither MetaWindow or MS-C have any special printer support. So I would like inquire information about commercial (or even PD/SW) printer packages available for MicroSoft 'C'. The package should have a support for the major printers (Epson-compatibles, HP LaserJet, HPGL plotters, PostScript) and should allow self written 'device descriptions' to be built to handle non-standard printers. The package should include functions for object oriented drawing commands like circles, lines, rectangles and preferable also filled objects. Also a support for variety of fonts (preferably it should support BitStream and similar commercial font packages) and bit images. So the 1 buck question is - does such a package exist ? Also I would be interested in hearing about libraries to handle many different kinds of input devices (mouses, digitizing tables, track balls - MetaWindow only supports some mouses) and scanners (both desktop and handheld scanners).
