Can anyone tell me how to enter a path name > 128 characters. I have enough environment space but it drops all characters after 128. Thanks.

To get longer paths, you must increase your environment space. To do this you have to place the following line into CONFIG.SYS: SHELL=COMMAND.COM /P /E:2000 I think this should give you more than enough environment space. If not, try it with /E:4000 instead of /E:2000. I hope this helps. -- J. Chin (a.k.a. You can also cheat and shrink the name for the directorys in the path:
NORTON = NU
TURBOC = TC
.
.
.
so that PATH=C:\NORTON;C:\TURBOC
becomes PATH=C:\NU;C:\TC
This does save a few characters if you only need to add one more name.
