I can't get a 1.44 meg drive to work at 1.44 meg on an AT compatible even with the use of driver.sys. WD (ctrlr mfgr) is of no help as to whether the problem might be with theirWD1003-WA2 not being hardware compatible with the drive. Also, is it necessary that the BIOS support that drive type? The built-in-ROM config doesn't specifically specify 1.44 meg drives. This sytem has worked for a while very nicely with a 720K drive, however. Any ideas?? =MR -- __ Fidonet : 369/2 [(305) 421-8593] Brave New World South / \ Internet: muadib.FIDONET.ORG / oo|\ or : f3.n369.z1.FIDONET.ORG (_\ |_) UUCP : novavax!muadib _ /__\@'__ USnail : 433 SE 13th CT.
