I recently came across a number of Seagate ST 412 disk drives. Does anyone know anything about these drives? Specifically, I'm interested in connecting one to my PC, and I'd like to know what sort of interface they have and if anyone makes a compatible controller. Larry M. Assuming that the 412's are working of course! :) The ST 412 uses the standard Seagate ST-405 bus (ie an IBM standard buss). The drive will work with most any MFM controller, and (if your lucky) should be formattable with Ontrack's Disk Manager. If you need any more information about ST-512 drives, let me know.
