Hello, A freind of mine just laid his hand on a pair of DecMate IIIs,
real cheap, but he has no hardware docs (he just got the box, no
monitor, keyboard, or anything like that). Does anyone know
anything about these beasts? We have a boot disk for them, which
seems to work, but with no monitor, who can really tell, and the
back of the machine while it does have a COM port, and a Printer
port, also has a Video port, but no place to attach a keyboard. We
have talked to Dec, and they basicly told us what the machine is,
but beond that, they would only say that the machines were no
longer supported. Thanks for the help, my freind says that he will
quite happily pay any photocopying/mailing charges, for any docs,
etc. that he can lay his hands on, so if you have anything at all,
please let us know.
