Hi. I'm using the new version of zcomm (just downloaded from simtel), and I have a question about printing. I'd like to turn the printer on, that is, issue a command that causes all _subsequent_ text from the remote to be sent to the printer (like with Crosstalk's "PR ON" command). I've tried the "t -l" command, but that insists on dumping everything in the (~6K) circular buffer to the printer. I discovered that I can clear out the circular buffer (I used PgUp k), but this is a kludge, and I can't figure out how to bind this to a single function key (so that f9 turns on the printer, and f10 turns it off for example). It seems like there should be one nice, clean command to do this that doesn't involve monkeying around with the circular buffer--I thought about link, but that says that it only links together two serial ports. Any ideas? BTW, I've already RTFM, but it's not very clear about this. Please _mail_ replies, I will forward responses to anyone who asks, or post if there are enough such requests. Thanks, Bill Foote foote@ernie.berkeley.edu{.uucp}, ..!ucbvax!ernie!foote
