[comp.sys.ibm.pc] MKS Shell history file

mbrands@idca.tds.PHILIPS.nl (Manfred Brands) (03/07/89)

Each time I start a shell, using the -L option, the program truncates
my history file. I would like to keep the commands I executed in the
previous session.

I've tried setting the environment variable HISTFILE in profile.ksh
but that doesn't seem to work.

Has anybody out there found a solution for it ?

Manfred Brands.
