I've just acquired a PC/Solution IBM compatible minus any documentation. It came with a a few cards, namely: Multi Video Card - three ports, Composite, Mono, RGB. PC/Disk Multi Card - Serial, Parallel, 3-RAM banks, Floppy Controller. PC/CPU Card - 8088, Coprocessor slot. Hard Disk Controller - looks like a Western Digital WD2? My problem is, I don't know anything about the switches on the cards or about the serial port. The serial port is a 9-pin but it is female, not male. I'm assuming the pinouts are the same but I haven't been able to verify that yet. The CPU board has one 5 switch DIP, the Disk Multi Card has 1 8 switch DIP and one 5 switch DIP. The Multi Video Card has 2 sets of jumpers. All I can tell about the hard disk controller is that it's capable of two floppys and one hard disk. Any information on this computer would be appreciated. It's a weird box. It's basically just a bus and power supply in one box and the disks go in another. A couple of cables hook it all together and to the monitor and keyboard and that's it. It's got an SI index of 1.0, no suprise but it will make a good word processor for my fiancee'. Thanks in advance. Mike Fallavollita mikef@portia.stanford.edu
